DIRECT PROTECT PLUS Warranty

Get extra protection beyond the manufacturer’s warranties!

Direct Protect Plus Plus Warranties cover labor and refrigerant for 1,2,3 or 5 years (depending on the warranty you chose). For cases where our customer support is not able to resolve an issue, this warranty covers an a HVAC Technician’s diagnostic fee of up to $65 and labor fees of up to $85/hour and refrigerant expenses up to $22/pound (restrictions apply)*.

*Restrictions:

Direct Protect Plus Warranties only cover complete mini split systems (defined as air handler(s), line set(s) and condenser(s) purchased together as a bundled package in a single purchase) purchased from MRCOOL Direct, MRCOOL Sales or HVAC Shop. Systems or components from other suppliers are not eligible for Direct Protect Plus Warranties. Components purchased from MRCOOL Direct, MRCOOL Sales or HVAC Shop are also ineligible if they were purchased outside of a complete system as defined above. 1-year Direct Protect Plus Warranties cover up to $600 total expense for the labor of a contractor and the 2-year, 3-year and 5-year Direct Protect Plus Warranties cover up to the original purchase price of the covered system. Coverage begins when 91 days have passed since the date of purchase of the warranty and since the date of purchase of the system. Warranties can not be combined. Do not purchase more than one Direct Protect and/or Direct Protect Plus Warranty for the same system, as only the single warranty with the greatest coverage will be applied.
